The Effectiveness of Experiential Teaching Applying SMART Principles in Operating Room Internship Nursing Education
Objective:To investigate the effectiveness of experiential teaching applying SMART principles in operating room internship nursing education.Methods:Eighty operating room internship nursing students from our hospital were randomly divided into two groups.Among them,40 were assigned to the control group,which received traditional operating room teaching methods,and 40 were assigned to the experimental group,which received experiential teaching applying SMART principles.Results:The experimental group showed significantly higher scores in exit exam assessments,comprehensive ability evaluations,and self-learning ability evaluations compared to the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Experiential teaching applying SMART principles in the operating room significantly improving the effectiveness of internship nursing education.Therefore,it is worth implementing.
