Application of Outline Signal Diagram Method Combined with Case-based Teaching in Teaching and Training of Respiratory and Critical Care Nursing Students
Objective:To study the application and effectiveness evaluation of the outline signal diagram method combined with case-based teaching in teaching and training of respiratory and critical care nursing students.Methods:A total of 113 nursing students from the respiratory and critical care medicine department of our hospital were randomly divided into two groups:the control group with 58 students(conventional teaching method)and the study group with 55 students(outline signal diagram method combined with case-based teaching).The teaching effects of the two groups were evaluated and compared.Results:The theoretical and skills assessments,clinical nursing abilities,and core competencies of the study group were significantly higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The application of the outline signal diagram method combined with case-based teaching in teaching and training of respiratory and critical care nursing students can improve their theoretical and practical skills,as well as promote the development of their clinical nursing abilities and core competencies.
