Application of Mini-CEX Combined with CBL Teaching Method in Pancreatic Surgery Internship Teaching
Objective:To explore the application of Mini-Clinical Evaluation Exercise(Mini-CEX)combined with Case-Based Learning(CBL)teaching method in pancreatic surgery practical teaching.Methods:Sixty-eight five-year medical students undergoing pancreatic surgery internship were randomly divided into the experimental group(Mini-CEX combined with CBL teaching method,34 students)and the control group(traditional teaching,34 students).The performance of the two groups in the exit examination and questionnaire survey was compared to comprehensively evaluate the learning quality.Results:There was no significant difference in theoretical assessment between the experimental group and the control group(P>0.05);the practical operation,case analysis,and questionnaire evaluation of the experimental group were better than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The Mini-CEX combined with CBL teaching method has a good effect in practical teaching of pancreatic surgery,which can improve students'mastery of relevant knowledge.
