Analysis and Reflection on Factors Influencing Employment in Rehabilitation Therapy Technology:A Questionnaire Survey at a Vocational School in Suzhou as an Example
Objective:To investigate and analyze the employment status of the 2020 graduates from a vocational school in Suzhou where our hospital provides internship supervision.Methods:A self-designed survey questionnaire was distributed online via Questionnaire Star from April 3rd to April 17th,2020.Results:A total of 159 valid questionnaires were collected.The survey showed that 70.44%of the students planned to seek employment,with 83.21%of them inclined towards rehabilitation-related work.Salary and benefits remained the primary consideration,followed by working environment.Only 10.71%of students felt adequately prepared,and the internet,school,and job fairs were the main sources of employment information.49.11%of students felt significant employment pressure,and the anxiety level of students choosing employment was higher than those opting for further education(P<0.05).Conclusion:The majority of the 2020 graduates tended to seek employment in large comprehensive hospitals,indicating some employment pressure.It is recommended that students cultivate a correct attitude towards employment,establish reasonable expectations,and expand their employment options.
