Application of Flipped Classroom in Visual Teaching for Anesthesia Residents
Objective:To explore the application effect of traditional teaching and flipped classroom teaching in visual technology teaching for anesthesia residents. Methods:Thirty anesthesia residents who had not systematically studied lung ultrasound in the anesthesia department from September 2019 to August 2020 were randomly divided into a control group and an experimental group. The theoretical examination scores and lung ultrasound practical operation skill assessment scores of the two groups were compared, and the teaching effectiveness of the two groups was evaluated through a questionnaire survey. Results:The theoretical examination and skill assessment scores of the experimental group were superior to those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).In the advanced assessment, the number of residents voluntarily participating in the advanced assessment in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Although the completion rates of the two groups of residents participating in the advanced assessment were similar(P>0.05),the number of completions in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).The results of the teaching effectiveness questionnaire survey showed that, except for promoting theoretical learning, optimizing learning time, and learning atmosphere, there was no significant difference between the two groups, and the experimental group was more recognized than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The flipped classroom teaching mode is conducive to visual teaching for anesthesia residents, improving the quality of clinical teaching. The combination of multiple teaching modes is more conducive to improving teaching quality.Further research is needed to promote this teaching mode.
