Objective:To evaluate the application effect of the spatial landmark method in gypsum tooth carving teaching.Methods:Twenty undergraduate students majoring in stomatology at Shandong University were selected and randomly divided into two groups,experimental group and control group,receiving teaching using the spatial landmark method and traditional teaching methods,respectively.Their performance and satisfaction were analyzed through score analysis and satisfaction surveys.Results:The gypsum tooth carving scores and questionnaire ratings of the experimental group students were significantly higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The teaching effect of the spatial landmark method is good and can be used as a teaching tool for gypsum tooth carving training.
