Application Effect of Micro-Video Method Combined with Competitive Assessment in Microbiology Laboratory Intern Teaching
Objective:To explore the application effect of the micro-video method combined with competitive assessment in the intern teaching of microbiology laboratory.Methods:Sixty-seven interns from the Department of Laboratory Medicine at Taizhou First People's Hospital in Zhejiang Province from January 2015 to December 2019 were randomly divided into an experimental group(37 individuals)and a control group(30 individuals). The experimental group adopted the micro-video method combined with competitive assessment, while the control group adopted traditional teaching methods. The teaching effect was evaluated at the end of the internship. Results:The theoretical knowledge scores and practical skills scores of the experimental group were significantly higher than those of the control group(t=3.501,7.752,P<0.05),and the overall evaluation of the teaching effect in the experimental group was significantly higher than that in the control group(90.78±2.42 vs.86.60±3.46,t=6.606,P<0.05).Conclusion:The teaching method of micro-video combined with competitive assessment can motivate interns and effectively improve the teaching effect of microbiology laboratory practices.
