Application of the One Minute Preceptor in the Standardized Training of Emergency Residents on Acute Drug Poisoning
To explore the effectiveness of the one minute preceptor in the standardized training of emergency residents on acute drug poisoning. Methods:Physicians who participated in the standardized training of emergency residents at Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region People's Hospital from 2018 to 2020(residents)were selected and grouped based on their pre-training exam scores, with 32 individuals in the experimental group and 30 individuals in the control group. The experimental group received instruction using the one minute preceptor, while the control group received traditional clinical teaching. Both groups were assessed before and after learning the same content. Results:There were no significant differences between the experimental and control groups in basic demographic data such as age, gender, education level, and pre-training scores(P>0.05).The scores of the experimental group were significantly higher than those of the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).The overall teaching satisfaction of the experimental group was significantly higher than that of the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion:The one minute preceptor is more effective than traditional teaching methods in improving the scores of learners, enhancing their thinking ability, initiative in learning, and teamwork awareness.
