Blended Teaching Practice and Reform in Pathology Based on the OBE Concept
Objective:To explore the application and effectiveness of a blended teaching model based on outcomes-based education(OBE)in pathology teaching.Methods:400 students from classes 1 to 8 of the clinical major in 2018 at Qiqihar Medical University were selected as the experimental group, and 417 students from classes 1 to 8 of the clinical major in 2017 were selected as the control group. The experimental group received blended teaching, while the control group received traditional teaching. After the course, comparisons were made in self-learning ability and final grades. Results:The comprehensive scores, final theoretical scores, and excellent rate of the experimental group were significantly higher than those of the control group. The self-learning ability of the experimental group students was higher than that of the control group. Conclusion:A blended teaching model based on the OBE concept can improve students'learning outcomes, analytical problem-solving abilities, stimulate learning motivation, and enhance learning effectiveness.
