Application of MOOC Combined with PBL in the Reform of Pharmacology Teaching of Traditional Chinese Medicine
Objective:To study the application effect of MOOC combined with Problem-Based Learning(PBL)in the reform of pharmacology teaching of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM).Methods:Students from Class 1 of the 2018 session of the School of Chinese Pharmacy,Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine,were selected as the experimental group,while students from Class 2 served as the control group.While conducting MOOC online teaching,PBL was implemented offline for the experimental group,and traditional teaching was carried out for the control group.The scores of the two groups were compared.Results:The total scores and scores on analytical and design questions in the experimental group were significantly higher than those in the control group.Conclusion:The combination of MOOC and PBL is more conducive to cultivating students'research thinking in pharmacology of traditional Chinese medicine and improving their overall quality.
