Guided by the clinical physician licensing examination and considering the talent training orientation and teaching reality of Inner Mongolia Medical University,we implemented reforms in pathophysiology teaching for the 2014 and 2015 cohorts of clinical medicine undergraduates.This study discusses the effectiveness of teaching reforms through measures such as revising the curriculum,implementing teaching reforms,and enhancing the teaching capabilities of the faculty.Recent graduates from our university who participated in the national physician licensing examination consistently achieved significantly higher average scores in the pathophysiology examination module compared to schools within our jurisdiction and national candidates(P<0.01).Analysis of two years of physician licensing examinations preliminarily indicates that pathophysiology teaching reform oriented towards the licensing examination is effective,particularly in cultivating students'clinical thinking and their ability to analyze and solve clinical problems.
