Application of Standardized Patients in Teaching Hospital Residents Standardized Training for Medical History Collection
Objective:By introducing standardized patients into the standardized training for medical history collection of hospital residents, and comparing with traditional teaching methods, this study aims to explore the teaching effectiveness of standardized patients in the standardized training for medical history collection of hospital residents. Methods:A total of 86 hospital residents from our hospital's 2018 and 2019 cohorts were selected as study subjects. They were divided into experimental and control groups randomly by cohort. The experimental group used standardized patients for medical history collection training, while the control group used traditional methods with fellow students as training objects. The scores of medical history collection in the standardized training skills examination at the end of the first year were compared between the two groups. Results:The experimental group performed significantly better than the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion:The use of standardized patients in standardized training for hospital residents improves teaching effectiveness.
