Objective:To explore the application effectiveness of the reverse thinking teaching method based on OSCE in emergency department nursing preceptorship.Methods:A total of 182 emergency department nursing students were randomly divided into a control group(n=91)and an experimental group(n=91).The control group received traditional teaching methods,while the experimental group received the reverse thinking teaching method based on OSCE.The teaching effectiveness of both groups was evaluated.Results:The experimental group demonstrated significantly higher scores in theoretical and skills assessments,clinical emergency response capabilities,and critical thinking abilities compared to the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion:The application of the reverse thinking teaching method based on OSCE in emergency department nursing preceptorship significantly improves the theoretical knowledge,practical skills,clinical emergency response capabilities,and critical thinking abilities of nursing students compared to traditional teaching methods.
