Exploration and Reflection on the Application of Forceps-Assisted Delivery Model in Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Training
Objective:To explore the application and improvement directions of the forceps-assisted delivery model in standardized training of gynecology residents. Methods:This study randomly selected 39 gynecology residents from 2018 and 2019,with the control group(19 people)receiving traditional teaching methods for perinatal skills and the experimental group(20 people)undergoing training with a forceps-assisted delivery simulation system. After equivalent teaching time, unified assessment evaluations were conducted. Results:The experimental group showed significantly higher training scores in forceps placement, forceps angle, and other operational skills compared to before training, with statistical significance(P<0.01).Conclusion:Simulation teaching with the forceps-assisted delivery model is superior to traditional teaching methods in improving the operational ability of forceps among residents.Future exploration should focus on enhancing trainees'ability to control traction angles and forces during delivery.
