Application of CBL Combined with Clinical Practice in Clinical Pharmacy Theory and Practice Courses
Objective:To explore the application effect of the teaching mode combining Case-Based Learning(CBL)with clinical practice in clinical pharmacy theory and practice courses. Methods:Seventy undergraduate students majoring in clinical pharmacy from the 2018 cohort were selected and divided into two groups:the control group, which adopted the traditional teaching mode, and the experimental group, which used the CBL combined with clinical practice teaching mode. The teaching effects of the two groups were compared. Results:The students in the experimental group showed significantly higher course satisfaction, learning interest, autonomous learning ability, and team communication and cooperation ability compared to the control group(P<0.05).Additionally,their theoretical scores and comprehensive quality scores were significantly higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).However,there was no significant difference between the two groups in improving language expression ability(P=0.30).Conclusion:The teaching mode combining CBL with clinical practice is more effective in enhancing students'pharmaceutical service capabilities.
