Application Research of Nonviolent Communication Combined with Think-Pair-Share Model Training in On-the-Job Training for General Surgery Nurses
Objective:To explore the effectiveness of nonviolent communication combined with the Think-Pair-Share(TPS)model training in on-the-job training for general surgery nurses. Methods:From October 2020 to October 2021,four nursing units in the general surgery department of the hospital were randomly assigned to either the experimental group or the control group. The experimental group received training combining nonviolent communication with the TPS model, while the control group participated in conventional nonviolent communication training.Differences in clinical communication skills, patient satisfaction, and teaching satisfaction between the two groups were compared. Results:The experimental group showed significantly better results in clinical communication skills, patient satisfaction, and teaching satisfaction compared to the control group(P<0.001).Conclusion:Training that combines nonviolent communication with the TPS model can improve communication skills between nurses and patients and enhance job competency in general surgery nurses.
