The Integrated Application of the PAD Class and Flipped Classroom in Health Assessment Experimental Teaching
Objective:To explore the integrated application of the flipped classroom and PAD class in health assessment experimental teaching. Methods:Nursing undergraduates enrolled in the Health Assessment course during the fall semester of 2020 were selected as the study subjects and divided into a control group(n=72)and an experimental group(n=46).The control group was taught using the flipped classroom teaching model, while the experimental group was taught using an integrated model of flipped classroom and PAD class. The teaching effectiveness of the two groups was evaluated. Results:There was no statistically significant difference in the performance between the two groups, and both groups had a positive attitude towards the teaching methods they experienced. However, compared to the flipped classroom alone, the integrated application of the flipped classroom and PAD class showed better outcomes in terms of reducing extracurricular learning pressure and time consumption. Conclusion:The integrated application of PAD class and the flipped classroom has a significant effect.
