The Current Status of Professional Identity among Undergraduate Nursing Interns and Its Impact on Attitudes toward Professionalism
Objective:To explore the current status of professional identity among undergraduate nursing interns and its impact on their attitudes toward professionalism.Methods:Data were collected through an online survey via Questionnaire Star,utilizing general information,the Nursing Students'Professional Identity Scale,and the Professionalism Attitude Scale.Results:A total of 258 questionnaires were collected.The professional identity score of undergraduate nursing interns was(69.67±12.45),and the professionalism attitude score was(69.13±10.38).There was a positive correlation between the two(r=0.592,P<0.01).Hierarchical regression analysis showed that professional identity independently explained 14%of the variance in professionalism attitude.Conclusion:The levels of professional identity and attitudes toward professionalism among undergraduate nursing interns are moderate,with professional identity being an important influencing factor on attitudes toward professionalism.
