A Questionnaire Survey Study on the Impact of COVID-19 on Medical Students'Ideological and Political Attitudes——A Case Study of a University in Zhejiang
Objective:To understand the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on medical students'ideological and political attitudes.Methods:A questionnaire was designed to explore the adaptation of medical students to online learning,their psychological changes,and their beliefs about the medical profession under pandemic prevention and control measures.The study was conducted among fourth-year students at a university in Zhejiang.Data were collected through an online questionnaire,and variance analysis was performed by gender.Results:78.89%of students supported online learning measures,61.54%paid daily attention to the pandemic,88.46%maintained strong professional beliefs,and 90.39%were willing to take risks and step forward during a pandemic.Female students were more proactive in adapting to online courses,being influenced by anti-epidemic spirit,maintaining professional beliefs,and expressing a willingness to step forward when the country needs them.Conclusion:During the COVID-19 pandemic,medical students at our university generally exhibited a positive and proactive attitude,with high ideological and political qualities.
