Application of a Just-in-Time Teaching(JiTT)Model Based on WeChat Platform in Basic Nursing Experiment Teaching
Objective:To explore the application effect of a Just-in-Time Teaching(JiTT)model based on the WeChat platform in the experimental teaching of Basic Nursing.Methods:A total of 133 nursing undergraduates from five classes of the 2018 cohort at our university were selected as the study subjects.They were divided into an experimental group(n=77)and a control group(n=58)according to their classes.The experimental group adopted the JiTT teaching method based on the WeChat platform,while the control group used traditional teaching methods.After the course,the students'theoretical and practical scores,as well as their autonomous learning abilities,were compared between the two groups.Results:The experimental group showed significantly higher scores in theory,practice,and autonomous learning ability than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The JiTT teaching method helps improve teaching effectiveness and significantly enhances the autonomous learning abilities of nursing undergraduates.
