Evaluation of Research-Based Teaching Methods in Non-Full-Time Public Health Master's Epidemiology Education
Objective:To explore the application effect of research-based teaching methods in non-full-time Master of Public Health(MPH)epidemiology education.Methods:Non-full-time MPH students from the 2017 and 2018 cohorts at Fudan University School of Public Health were used as the control group with traditional teaching methods.The 2019 and 2020 cohorts were the experimental group,which utilized a research-based teaching method combining knowledge lectures with case discussions.The teaching effectiveness was compared between the two groups.Results:The experimental group had significantly higher theoretical and research scores compared to the control group,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion:The application of research-based teaching methods in epidemiology education significantly improves teaching outcomes and enhances students'research and practical skills.
