Application of Case-Based Teaching Method in Ophthalmology Education for Clinical Medicine under the Excellence Physician Training Program
Objective:To explore the effectiveness of the case-based teaching method in ophthalmology education for clinical medicine under the excellence physician training program.Methods:160 undergraduate clinical medicine students from Inner Mongolia Medical University were selected and randomly divided into an experimental group(n=80)and a control group(n=80).The experimental group used the case-based teaching method,while the control group employed traditional LBL(Lecture-Based Learning)methods.The effectiveness was evaluated through surveys and assessment scores.Results:The experimental group had significantly higher satisfaction and assessment scores compared to the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The case-based teaching method enhances students'satisfaction with the ophthalmology course and helps them better grasp professional theoretical knowledge and practical skills,playing a positive role in the excellence physician training program.
