Survey on Self-Directed Learning of Medical Students During the COVID-19 Pandemic
Objective:To investigate the self-directed learning situation of medical undergraduates during the COVID-19 pandemic.Method:A survey questionnaire based on the"College Student Self-Directed Learning Scale"was distributed and collected online.Statistical analysis of the valid responses was conducted to understand the status and influencing factors of self-directed learning among medical students.Results:The survey revealed that the overall self-directed learning situation of medical undergraduates during the pandemic was unsatisfactory,characterized by insufficient autonomy in learning and lack of effective learning strategies,with some gender and disciplinary differences.Conclusion:The pandemic has significantly impacted medical students'self-directed learning,with multiple contributing factors.Future educational activities should focus on enhancing students'awareness and abilities related to self-directed learning.
