Investigation and Analysis of Participation in Research Activities and Influencing Factors Among Chinese Medicine Students
Objective:To understand the participation rate in research activities and the influencing factors among students majoring in Chinese medicine.Methods:A stratified random sampling method was used to select 120 students from a higher education institution specializing in Chinese medicine for a questionnaire survey.Results:The participation rate in research activities among respondents was 31.67%.Factors affecting students'engagement in research activities include their grade level,attitude and interest towards research,and attention to technological innovations in the Chinese medicine industry(P<0.05).51.67%of students consider credits,graduate school preparation,awards,and graduation theses as primary factors for participating in research activities.30.83%of non-participating students cited a lack of specific information about research activities as the main reason for their non-participation.Conclusion:The participation rate in research activities among Chinese medicine students is relatively low.Improving the student research innovation incentive system,adjusting course settings,and enhancing the role of teachers in guiding student research innovation can help increase students'awareness of research and foster a more innovative environment.
