Exploring the Training Pathways for Professional Degree Graduate Students in Medical Technology:A Case Study of Shanghai Jiao Tong University
In September 2022,the Ministry of Education adjusted academic degrees in medical technology to professional degrees,providing clearer guidance for the training of medical technology professionals.This paper analyzes and summarizes the current state of medical technology talent training in China and explores pathways and strategies for professional degree graduate students using Shanghai Jiao Tong University as a case study.The study investigates the challenges and issues in medical technology education and proposes strategies such as broadening the admissions channels for professional degree students,reforming the entrance exam subjects for master's students,developing core curricula that meet diverse student needs,and advancing the integration of industry and education.The proposed strategies aim to enhance the quality of medical technology education,address existing issues,and support the construction of the medical technology discipline.Recommendations include strengthening the alignment between educational and industry needs,optimizing curriculum design,and improving training mechanisms.The study provides actionable insights for advancing the training of high-level,interdisciplinary medical technology professionals,supporting national strategies for scientific and educational development and health care advancement.
