Survey and Study on the Awareness and Education of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)Culture Among Graduate Students:A Case Study of a TCM University
Objective:To investigate the awareness and educational status of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)culture among graduate students at a TCM university,and to provide suggestions and strategies for improving TCM talent cultivation and cultural inheritance.Methods:A questionnaire survey was conducted among graduate students at the TCM university to assess the current situation,followed by result analysis.Results:Most graduate students have a certain level of awareness of TCM culture and recognize the necessity of offering TCM culture courses.However,there is still room for improvement in consolidating their TCM cultural literacy.Conclusion:There is potential for enhancing TCM cultural literacy among graduate students at TCM universities.Recommendations include:strengthening students'self-directed learning awareness,providing targeted guidance from faculty and mentors,increasing the proportion of TCM culture courses in certain programs,focusing on the development and construction of TCM professional talent,exploring TCM-specific service systems and talent training models,and actively promoting diverse and rich TCM cultural education formats to reinforce the unique characteristics and value of TCM.
