Exploration and Reflection on the SPOC Model in Teaching Rehabilitation Medicine to MBBS International Students
This study developed an SPOC(Small Private Online Course)teaching model using a network platform based on the Litchi Microclass WeChat public account and website,supplemented with high-quality MOOC resources,teaching videos,and homework assignments.The model was implemented in the Rehabilitation Medicine course for MBBS international students in the Fall 2017 semester.Results showed that teaching satisfaction and learning process evaluations were significantly higher compared to the Spring 2017 and Fall 2016 cohorts of the same program,with statistically significant differences.The findings suggest that the SPOC teaching model enhanced students'autonomous learning abilities,improved teaching quality,and achieved positive educational outcomes.
