Analysis of Factors Affecting the Performance of Gastroenterology Exit Exams for Standardized Resident Training
Objective:To explore the factors influencing the performance of standardized resident training trainees in gastroenterology exit exams. Methods:Data from 130 trainees on their gastroenterology exit exam scores were collected as the dependent variable.Fourteen independent variables, including gender, age, specialty, and education level, were analyzed.Spearman's rank correlation was initially used for univariate analysis, followed by multiple linear regression analysis for statistically significant variables. Results:Interaction and communication with instructors, participation in teaching activities, and the number of self-study microcourses were identified as independent predictors of exit exam scores. Conclusion:The proactive learning approach of trainees is closely related to the effectiveness of training.Enhancing teacher-student interaction, improving communication, and innovating teaching methods are beneficial for improving training outcomes.
