Application of the CBL Teaching Method with the Establishment of a CBL Question Bank in Emergency Medicine Education
Objective:To explore the effectiveness of applying the CBL teaching method with the establishment of a CBL question bank in emergency medicine education.Methods:A total of 60 emergency medicine residents and 80 master's students rotating in the emergency department at Jilin University First Hospital in 2020 were randomly divided into two groups:a control group and an experimental group.The control group received traditional CBL teaching,while the experimental group utilized the CBL teaching method with the establishment of a CBL question bank.The study evaluated theoretical and clinical skills examination scores and student satisfaction with the teaching methods.Results:The experimental group outperformed the control group in both theoretical and clinical skills examination scores(P<0.05).The experimental group also received higher quantitative scores for teaching methods compared to the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The experimental group's students'clinical thinking abilities,theoretical knowledge,and practical skills.The CBL teaching method with the establishment of a CBL question bank is recommended for broader application in emergency medicine education.
