Construction and Application of the Course-Based Ideological and Political Education Teaching Model in the Public Health Inspection Course Based on the BOPPPS Model
This study explores the application effect of the BOPPPS teaching model in the course-based ideological and political education teaching of the public health inspection course.Students from two classes of the 2019 cohort in the inspection major were selected as research subjects. The experimental group adopted the BOPPPS teaching model, while the control group used the traditional teaching model for course-based ideological and political education. The teaching effect was evaluated based on the final exam scores and survey results from both groups. The experimental group's scores were higher than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The survey results showed that the experimental group showed significant improvements in learning interest, engagement, professional development, and values cultivation compared to the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).The results suggest that integrating the BOPPPS teaching model into course-based ideological and political education in courses can enhance teaching effectiveness.
