Health poverty alleviation is a key link in realising the strategy of Healthy China,which is also a difficult point of poverty alleviation in Jiangxi Province.It was conducted on poverty alleviation households in poverty-stricken counties of Ganzhou City from four dimensions,satisfaction with health assistance policies,level of medical services,ability to respond to medical risks,and evaluation of health status,constructed health poverty alleviation evaluation indexes through hierarchical analysis method,and evaluated the effectiveness.The score of Ganzhou City health poverty alleviation effectiveness evaluation was 0.852,and the overall evaluation was B.It indicated that Ganzhou City health poverty alleviation had a better effect,with a substantial increase in the health level,a significant increase in the level of medical services in rural areas,an improvement in the ability of the poor people to cope with medical risks,and a generally high degree of satisfaction with the health poverty alleviation policy among the rural poor households with documented cards.However,there were still problems such as insufficient health awareness among poor people,weak capacity of grassroots health institutions,and weak capacity of the medical security system.Health promotion efforts should be stepped up to raise the health awareness of poverty-stricken households;multi-party collaboration should be maintained to provide a wide range of medical services;and investment in medical security and the construction of primary health-care institutions should be increased,as well as innovated ways to safeguard the health of people in difficulty.
