Environmental hygiene is an important discipline of preventive medicine.The role of prevent on health management is increasing,since prevent is the most useful and economic health policy in recent years.In the same time,the model of personnel training should be transferred from"emphasized the theory and neglected the practice"to the balance of teaching and practicing.At present,there are some problems in the practical teaching of environmental hygiene,such as insufficient attention to the course,imperfect hardware facilities,weak initiative of students,lack of professional characteristics of the course,and the material of practical course can't keep pace with the times.According to the general requirements of the reform of preventive medicine training mode,combined with the characteristics of environmental hygiene,it discusses various ways to educate students'practical and application ability,and puts forward solutions from the perspective of curriculum system construction and improvement,teaching method improvement,teaching resource construction and practice base construction,so as to achieve the teaching goal of cultivating talents who can solve the practical problems of public health.
