Improving the construction of the emergency medical material support system is the infrastructure for enhancing the emergency response capacity of public health emergencies,and also an important guarantee for improving the comprehensive governance capacity of cities.By analyzing the demand for the construction of emergency medical material support system in megacities,it is pointed out that there are problems in the existing system.Based on the differences between demand and reality,a series of measures are proposed to improve the emergency medical material support system,such as establishing a joint meeting on emergency medical material reserves,establishing a diversified material reserve model,building an information platform for medical materials,optimizing logistics transportation support,improving donation mechanisms,and establishing evaluation and recovery mechanisms,in order to enhance the emergency response capacity of megacities to public health emergencies.
