Objective To explore HIV infection status and its related risk factors among HIV voluntary counseling and testing(VCT)outpatients in Taiyuan,and to provide scientific basis for HIV prevention and control in Taiyuan.Methods The data were analyzed by SPSS 22.0 software for the respondents who completed the consultation and testing and informed consent forms in the VCT Clinic of Taiyuan Center for Disease Control and prevention from 2018 to 2022,unconditional binary logistic regression was used to analyze the risk factors of HIV infection in VCT outpatients.Results From 2018 to 2022,4 951 people were tested in VCT Clinic of Taiyuan Center for Disease Control and prevention,and 531 of them were found to be HIV antibody positive.The total positive rate was 10.73％.There was significant difference in the positive rate of HIV antibody among the callers with different characteristics(P＜0.05).Male,age over 50 years,primary school education,divorced or widowed,men who have sex with men(MSM)history Syphilis patients were the risk factors of HIV infection in VCT clients(P＜0.001).Conclusion MSM is the main mode of HIV transmission in Taiyuan.It is supposed to give full play to the advantages of VCT clinics,increase publicity and high-risk intervention,improve HIV testing,and effectively prevent HIV transmission in the population.
