Objective To analyze the rationality of human rabies immunoglobulin usage among rabies patients in the comprehensive outpatient department of Zoucheng Center for Disease Control and Prevention in 2022.Methods A chi-square test was conducted on the population characteristics of 628 rabies grade Ⅲ exposed individuals who used human rabies immunoglobulin.Binary logistic regression was used to analyze the influencing factors of rational drug use retes of human rabies immunoglobulin in rabies grade Ⅲ exposed individuals.Results There were statistically significant differences in the rational drug use rates among populations of different ages(x2=18.55,P＜0.01),occupations(x2=31.40,P＜0.01),and exposure sites(x2=11.41,P＜0.05);binary logistic regression analysis showed that the occupation were students and government officials,exposure to the head,face,and neck were protective factors for the rational drug use rates of human rabies immunoglobulin in rabies patients.Conclusion There is an issue of inappropriate use of immunoglobulin in rabies patients in this outpatient department.Occupation and exposure site are factors that affect the rational use of human rabies immunoglobulin in rabies patients among rabies level Ⅲ exposed individuals,measures need to be taken to optimize rational drug use in response to these influencing factors.
