Study on the current situation of pre-pregnancy eugenic screening for women of childbearing age and the continuous improvement methodology and evaluation in Tonglu County of Zhejiang Province
Objective To explore the current situation of pre-pregnancy eugenic screening for women of childbearing age in Tonglu County,and to analyze the continuous improvement methodology and evaluation study.Methods From January 2023 to January 2024,the current situation of pre-pregnancy eugenic screening for 300 cases of women of childbearing age in Tonglu County were investigated using cluster sampling method,and binary logistic regression was used to analyze the influencing factors.Results A total of 164(54.67％)were aware of the need for pre-pregnancy eugenic examinations;122(40.67％)participated in pre-pregnancy eugenic examinations,of which a total of 6(4.92％)were detected with related diseases.Binary logistic regression analysis showed that aged≤30,the education level is below bachelor's degree,no adverse pregnancy history,workers or farmers,unplanned pregnancy and general knowledge of pregnancy risks were risk factors affecting pre-pregnancy eugenic screening among women of childbearing age(P＜0.05).Conclusion The rate of pre-pregnancy eugenic examinations for women of childbearing age in Tonglu County is yet to be improved,and it is necessary to address the relevant influencing factors,propose continuous improvement methods and evaluations,strengthen the popularization of pre-pregnancy eugenic examinations,and improve the quality of the services in order to meet the needs of women of childbearing age.
