Objective To understand the status quo of upward referral of residents in community medical and health institutions in Beijing,and to provide basis for graded diagnosis and treatment and healthy development of community health services in Beijing.Methods A total of 1 902 residents in the community medical and health service institutions in Chaoyang District of Beijing were selected as the research subjects.Binary logistic regression was used to observe the behavioral influencing factors of upward referral of residents from community medical and health institutions.Results Only 252 residents(13.2％)had experienced upward referral.Residents aged ≥45 years,with a high school education or above,and covered by public medical insurance were less likely to seek upward referral,while residents with Beijing household registration were more likely to use upward referral services.Conclusion The upward referral rate of residents in community medical and health institutions is low.Medical and health institutions at all levels should strengthen the promotion of hierarchical medical treatment,guide the public to use medical resources reasonably,and improve the utilization rate of community medical and health service.
