Observation on hatchabilities of Blattella germanica ootheca indoors
Objective To study the hatching ability of B.germanica ootheca at different temperatures, providing reference for breeding indoors and surveillance outdoors. Methods Every female B.germanica was reared in a breeding tube,1 group included 60 tubes.4 groups were placed at(24.00±1.00)℃+(60.00±5.00)%,(27.00±1.00)℃+(60.00±5.00)%,(27.00±1.00)℃+(70.00±5.00)%,(30.00±1.00)℃+(70.00±5.00)%to observe the carrying time and nymphs of B.germanica ootheca and the interval between oothecae.Observed the ootheca every day and counted nymphs.SPSS 26.0 software was applied to perform analysis of nymphs, carrying time of ootheca, intervals. Results The maximum nymphs was(35.46±2.98).There was no significant difference among the amounts of nymphs in multiple spawning oothecae((O)字 2=1.910,P=0.385).The carrying time of ootheca decreased with increasing temperatures. The amounts of nymphs was significantly correlated with the length of ootheca(r=0.572,P=0.000),but had no significant correlation with temperature and humidity(r=-0.221,P=0.053;r=0.079,P=0.542).The amounts of nymphs had no significant correlation with carrying time of ootheca and spawning oothecae intervals(r=-0.097,P=0.577;r=-0.184,P=0.357).Conclusion Temperature and humidity had no obvious effect on amounts of nymphs of B.germanica ootheca, temperature mainly affecting the ootheca hatching ability and carrying time.
