Surveillance and analysis of hand hygiene of medical staff and surface disinfection in different level of hospitals,2020-2023
Objective To figure out the disinfection status of hand hygiene of medical staff and object surface in different level of hospitals,so as to provide basis for strengthening the quality control of hospital disinfection.Methods A tertiary,a secondary and a primary representative hospital were selected as sentinel hospitals and monitored in Nanning.The samples of hand hygiene of medical staff and object surface were collected to detect the total number of colonies,the disinfection quality was evaluated.Results A total of 206 hand hygiene samples of medical staff were collected during 2020-2023,with a qualified rate 64.56%.The qualified rate for the tertiary,secondary and primary hospital was 65.38%(51/78),77.33%(58/75),45.28%(24/53),respectively.The qualified rate for surgical hand hygiene and hygienic hand disinfection was 100.00%(50/50)and 53.21%(83/156),respectively.The qualified rate for nursing staff(59.21%)was slightly higher than that of the doctors'(47.50%).Besides,a total of 302 surface samples were collected,the qualified rate was 96.69%(292/302),and the unqualified samples were mainly on the surfaces of medical instruments and equipment and in the outpatient diagnosis and treatment area.Conclusion The disinfection quality of object surface in sentinel hospitals was high,but the qualified rate of hand hygiene among medical staff was low.It is necessary to improve the hand hygiene behavior and quality of medical staff,to reduce the risk of cross infection.
