Survey on EV71 vaccination in Zhangjiagang from 2017 to 2022
Objective To understand the change characteristics of EV71 vaccination rate in Zhangjiagang and grasp the reporting of adverse reactions after vaccination,combined with the trend of the incidence of hand-foot-mouth disease(HFMD)before and after the vaccination,to provide scientific basis for EV71 vaccination strategy.Methods The number of live doses of EV71 vaccine,children of appropriate age,adverse reactions reported after EV71 vaccination and the incidence of HFMD were collected through Jiangsu Province Vaccination Integrated Service Management Information System,National Immunization Program Information System and National Disease Surveillance Information Reporting Management System.Descriptive epidemiological method was used to present distribution characteristics,and chi-square test was used for data analysis.Results From 2017 to 2022,the first dose vaccination rate of EV71 vaccine in Zhangjiagang was 0.53％,3.49％,3.46％,4.38％,4.15％and 4.56％respectively,and there was an upward trend.The reported incidence of adverse reactions was 17.40 per 10,0000 injections.From 2018 to 2022,the proportion of EV71(0.34％)in the pathogens of HFMD in Zhangjiagang was significantly lower than that in 2013-2017(20.77％).Conclusion The EV71 vaccination in Zhangjiagang from 2017 to 2022 was carried out steadily,safely and effectively.It is recommended that strengthen the dissemination of knowledge about EV71 vaccine,increase vaccination rate and adherence.
