广州市一起入境人员隔离期间感染奥密克戎变异株的调查

目的 通过对1例在隔离酒店隔离期间感染新冠病毒奥密克戎变异株的案例分析,明确病例在隔离期间的感染来源和感染途径,提出隔离酒店的整改措施,降低隔离点感染风险。方法 通过回看监控、现场调查、采样核实、基因测序等方式对2023年1月广州市1例在入境隔离22 d发现的新冠肺炎病例开展调查。结果 经二代基因测序分析,该病例属于奥密克戎突变株BA。1/21K,与武汉参考株(NC045512)序列相比有62个变异位点,与相邻房间的新冠肺炎病例共享全部62个变异位点,两人序列同源性100%。两人相邻居住时长仅14 h,且两人隔离期间未有直接或间接接触,两房之间的排风排气排水管道不相通,但现场勘察发现两房墙壁天花板以上部分未完全隔断,两个房间具备空气交换和气体流通的条件,存在意外暴露感染风险。结论 将传统酒店改建为隔离酒店,需排查酒店房间建筑结构可能引发的风险隐患。
Investigation of an entry person infected with Omicron variant during quarantine period in Guangzhou
Objective Based on the analysis of a case infected with Omicron variant strain of SARS-CoV-2 in isolation period,the source and route of infection of the case during isolation period were identified,and corrective measures were proposed for the isolation hotel to reduce the risk of infection at the isolation point.Methods Through retrospective monitoring,field investigation,sampling verification,gene sequencing and other methods,a COVID-19 case found in Guangzhou City on the 22d of entry quarantine in January 2023 was investigated.Results According to the next-generation sequencing analysis,this case belonged to Omicron variant BA.1/21K,which had 62 mutation sites compared with Wuhan reference strain(NC045512),and shared all 62 mutation sites with the COVID-19 case in the adjacent room,and the two sequences were highly homologous.The two people lived next to each other for only 14 h,and there was no direct or indirect contact during the isolation period,the exhaust and drainage pipes between the two rooms were not connected.However,the on-site investigation found that the two rooms were not completely separated above the wall and ceilings,the two rooms were equipped with conditions for air exchange and gas circulation,resulted in accidental exposure and infection risk.Conclusion To convert a traditional hotel into an isolated hotel,it is necessary to check the potential risks caused by the building structure of the hotel room.
