Effect and safety analysis of Xiaoer Kechuanling Granule combined with budesonide aerosol inhalation in the treatment of cough variant asthma
Objective To analyze the efficacy and safety of Xiaoer Kechuanling granule combined with budesonide aerosol inhalation in the treatment of cough-variant asthma.Methods A total of 79 children with cough variant asthma admitted to a hospital from March 2020 to April 2022 were divided into observation group(n=41)and control group(n=38)according to different treatment methods.The control group received budesonide aerosol inhalation treatment,and the observation group received Xiaoer Kechuanling granules besides the treatment of control group.The clinical efficacy,lung function,airway inflammation indicators and safety of the two groups were compared.Results The total effect rate of observation group(95.12％)was higher than control group(78.95％)(P＜0.05).Before treatment,there was no statistical difference in forced expiratory volume/forced vital capacity(FEV1/FVC)and FVC between the two groups(P＞0.05).After treatment,FEV1/FVC and FVC in 2 groups were higher than before treatment(P＜0.05),and the observation group was higher than control group(P＜0.05).Before treatment,there was no statistical difference in the levels of CD3+,CD4+and CD8+cells between two groups(P＞0.05).After treatment,the levels of CD3+and CD4+cells in two groups were higher than before treatment(P＜0.05),and the observation group was higher than control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,CD8+cells levels in two groups were lower than before treatment(P＜0.05),and observation group was lower than control group(P＜0.05).There was no statistical difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion The combination of Xiaoer Kechuanling Granule and budesonide aerosol inhalation was effective in the treatment of cough variant asthma,which could improve the lung function and immune function and was safe and reliable.
