Analysis of two imported malaria cases at Rongcheng port,Shandong province
The global malaria epidemic remains serious,imported malaria persists in China.This paper introduced the confirmation and disposal of two imported malaria cases at Rongcheng port in Shandong province in 2023 and 2024,analyzed the epidemic prevention and control measures,it also provided reference for other ports to prevent and con-trol related infectious diseases.For imported malaria,the application of field epidemiology should be emphasized,the level of technology and quality of detection personnel should be improved,the construction of core capacity of port should be promoted,and the joint prevention and control among departments should be done well,in order to consoli-date the efforts to eliminate malaria.
