Expression and significance of Galectin in asthmatic bronchopneumonia induced by respiratory syncytial virus combined with bacterial infection
Objective To analyze the expression levels of Galectin-1 and Galectin-9 in asthmatic bronchopneumonia induced by respiratory syncytial virus(RSV)and bacterial infection,to provide reference for clinical study. Methods A total of 1 174 patients with asthmatic bronchopneumonia admitted to Langxi People's Hospital from January 2020 to October 2023 were selected,RSV and bacterial infection were detected by immunofluorescence.Serum T cell im-munoglobulin mucin-3(TIM-3),Galectin-1 and Galectin-9 levels were detected by xMark automatic absorbance read-er.The patients were divided into effective group and ineffective group, the influencing factors of Galectin-1 and Galectin-9 levels in predicting the curative effect of RSV with bacteria infection induced asthmatic bronchopneumonia were analyzed. Results TIM-3[(8.19±1.28)ng/ml],Galectin-1[(15.74±2.86)ng/ml]and Galectin-9[(35.78±4.18)ng/ml]in the ineffective group were higher than those in the effective group.By binary Logistic regression analysis,TIM-3,Galectin-1 and Galectin-9 were the risk factors for treatment failure in patients with asthmatic bronchopneumonia(P<0.05).ROC curve analysis showed that the sensitivity of Galectin-1,Galectin-9 and combined detection were 80.95%,80.95%and 90.48%,respectively.The specificity was 83.33%,84.38%and 94.79%,respectively.The combined pre-diction was higher than that of single prediction(AUC>0.09).Conclusion The combined detection of Galectin-1 and Galectin-9 in early stage had a good predictive value for RSV patients with asthmatic bronchopneumonia caused by bacteria infection.
