In engineering projects,utilizing digital and intelligent methods for effective control and management of construction machinery and equipment operation safety is a crucial direction in construction safety research and application.To enhance the safety of construction operations for machinery such as gravel pile machines,the perimeter intrusion warning system was designed and verified through the selection and design of terminal hardware,data collection and transmission,research on data processing algorithms,and system reliability analysis.In this paper,the single-line omnidirectional lidar and point cloud data algorithms were studied to achieve real-time monitoring and graded early warning of prohibited areas around construction machinery such as gravel piles,which improves the digital and intelligent level of the equipment.Through validation experiments,the system provides technical support for reducing the safety risks in construction operations and on-site safety risks associated with machinery such as gravel pile machines.
