With the rapid development of subsea tunnel construction in China,the construction technology of immersed tube method for subsea tunnels has been widely applied.The pipe joint of the immersed tunnel is a key and weak part of the immersed tube connection.The water stop and shear key system of the pipe joint have a significant impact on the safety of the immersed tunnel structure.In order to complete the construction of the pipe joints with high quality and ensure the safety of the immersed tube,this paper summarizes the specific operating steps and construction points of the steel shear key production and installation technology through the steel shear key construction of the pipe joint in Dalian Bay immersed tunnel.It accumulates experience in the construction of the shear keys for the immersed tunnel pipe joints,and provides reference for subsequent construction.
