To improve the utilization rate of the space below the high-pile beam-slab wharf, and to make pipeline laying more orderly and intensive,a design concept involving pipeline through the mooring column structure foundation has been proposed. This effectively reduces pipeline length and minimizes bend connections. After comparing the two methods of using reserved holes and pre-embedded casing,a recommended solution has been formulated, considering factors such as structural stress, durability, installation during the construction period, and inspections during usage.Employing Midas Civil 3D software for unit modeling,a review and computational analysis of nodes like the expanded section of mooring columns was conducted.Post-construction,in-situ load tests were conducted on the mooring columns to verify in both directions that the opening below the mooring column foundation has a relatively small impact on the overall stability of the dock structure, and the dock structure is safe and reliable.
