Research and application of concrete carbonization prevention and control technology for Shushan Shiplock of the Yangtze-to-Huaihe Water Diversion Project in Anhui
The early carbonation depth of the concrete for the Shushan Shiplock of the Yangtze-to-Huaihe Water Diversion Project in Anhui is relatively large,which has a significant impact on the strength evaluation of concrete using rebound method and also to some extent affects the durability and service life of concrete.The influence of carbonation inhibitors on the depth of concrete carbonation was studied from the aspects of the types of carbonation inhibitors,the start time of coating,and the number of coating.The results show that the anti-carbonization effect of magnesium fluorosilicate based carbonization inhibitors is better than that of sodium silicate based carbonization inhibitors;the earlier the start of coating of carbonation inhibitors,the better the carbonation resistance of concrete;the more times a carbonization inhibitor is applied,the better its anti-carbonization effect,and it is advisable to coat 2-3 times;the use of magnesium fluorosilicate carbonation inhibitors can greatly reduce the carbonation depth of concrete,and is worthy of promotion and application in engineering,especially in low grade large volume concrete projects with high durability requirements.
