Revit is a widely used architectural design and model creation software, but its control and performance of terrain has been carried out in a"surface"way, not a real solid model,so it is difficult to meet the needs of some projects on terrain.Aiming at the pain point that internal functions of Revit cannot build 3D terrain entities, this paper takes forward design application of actual engineering projects as the research background, conducts research on solid terrain modeling of Revit based on Dynamo, introduces five application methods, and proposes a optimization method to solve problems in practical application, and finally forms a feasible solution. It provides some ideas for creating and using solid terrain models in Revit conveniently and quickly.
