The mechanical properties of soil rock mixture are important parameters affecting the design and construction of embankment.Therefore,the related research has always been a hot topic.To analyze the mechanical properties of soil rock mixture under different moisture content,soil rock mixing ratio,compaction work and soil material thickness conditions,compaction tests and large-scale direct shear tests were conducted on soil rock mixture under different combinations.The influence of the above factors on the optimal water content and mechanical index of the mixture was revealed,and a calculation method for the mechanical indicators of soil rock mixture was established.The research shows that the total compaction work,moisture content,and stone content have a significant impact on the dry density of the sample.As the stone content increases,the maximum dry density of the soil rock mixture gradually increases but the optimal moisture content gradually decreases.The dry density increases with the increase of compaction times per layer.As the normal stress increases,the stress-strain curve of soil rock mixture gradually changes from strain hardening type to strain softening type.As the stone content increases,the internal friction angle decreases but the cohesion increases slightly.The results can provide theoretical reference for the construction and design of the embankment with soil rock mixture.
